Cape Byron Celtic Dance have performed and toured with bands such as ‘The most famous band you’ve never heard of, Murphy’s Pigs’, The Troublesome Boys from Brisbane, Widdershins and multiple other bands along the East coast.
Taking you on a journey through stormy oceans and fearsome battles, Cape Byron Celtic Dance has a lively, entertaining, and compelling performance style of both Irish and Highland dancing.
Specialising in Traditional Scottish and Irish Dance, along side Original Performance Choreography pieces that incorporate all Celtic Dance forms.
Cape Byron Celtic Dance is based on the beautiful coastline of Northern New South Wales, providing a fun, friendly, and family-filled atmosphere where creativity is key. Specialising in traditional Scottish and Irish dance, alongside original performance choreography pieces that incorporate all Celtic dance forms. Passed down through generations of hard work and devotion they’ve been recognised in the cultural communities for their dedication to their art and traditions.
With this passion, multiple awards and memorable performances have resulted in National titles and International medals.
They often feature at the Australian Celtic Festival in Glen Innes and the National Folk Festival.
